Haven't stepped outside yet this morning but I know it's cool because the A/C hasn't kicked on since I got up. Here's your Hump Day morning Sift. Enjoy.

No, I'm kidding; I would not leave the country because of an election outcome I didn't like. But if by "transformational" Ezra means the destruction of every safety net and progressive program put in place since my mom was gumming on her Zwieback biscuits, this country is going to be a wasteland of stark contrasts between the privileged and the abandoned. So for those of you who were disappointed that Barack Obama didn't personally deliver you your rainbows and unicorns on January 21, 2009, and who think that by not voting in November will register your flouncing disapproval of the whole sorry mess, don't come crying to me when the nutballs take over.
