SFDB selects its Post of the Week by going back and reviewing all the Sifts that we've done during the past 7 days. We find the best post of the week and note the runners ups as we judge them to be.
It was a tough week for selecting the best post. I was unable to get the final list down to under 5 posts, so, as a result, we have a winner and 4 runners-up. That's a first. So here we go.
Winner: Miami Beach 411 won last week's Post of the Week and they've done it again this week with an entertaining , yet informative, post on Miami's Metrorail and Metromover systems. The post is well written by Matt Meltzer and is supplemented with a generous supply of photos and a video from greenerMIAMI. After reading Riding The Miami Metrorail you will feel ready to take a ride yourself which, of course, is the beauty of the post and why it is this week's SFDB Post of the Week.
Runners-Up: Ipanemic put together a very funny video outtake clip for a video he recently filmed. The post that includes the video is called My Life Defined and is one of the funnier things I've seen locally on the internets. Tilefortlauderdale provides us yet another update on the nomadic habits of her tiles in Janie's Awesome Vacation. Anyone who watched the Dolphin's memorable victory over the Patriots last weekend knows that they ran a trick play a number of times with much success. Phin Phanatic did a great job in dissecting that play and showing us how it works in Breaking It Down: The "Wild Cat" Formation. And Some Cranky Guy shared with us some recent antique camera purchases and discussed some of the difficulties with using the things in a post called, appropriately enough, Old Cameras.
'Till next time, people, keep on blogging!

Thanks!
MTM (and Janie, who is still at The Chalet)
Congrats to Matt and the runners-up!
Thanks, Rick. We're honored to be selected twice in the same month.
This week, Matt Meltzer is putting his investigative journalist hat on and writing a story about Miami's most corrupt civil servants.
Dare we dream for a 3-peat?
